Aqueous hydrofluoric acid(HF) — 70% Solution

Our 70% hydrofluoric acid(HF) solution is an aqueous grade that is a clear, colorless, corrosive fuming liquid with a sharp, pungent odor. It is 100% soluble in water and is not flammable.

As with all grades of HF, 70% HF is highly hazardous and needs to be handled and used with rigorous safety precautions. It can cause severe burns to all parts of the body in liquid and vapor forms. Specialized medical treatment is required for any exposure to 70% hydrofluoric acid (HF).

Aqueous hydrofluoric acid (HF) — 49% Solution

As with 70% hydrofluoric acid(HF), our 49% HF is a clear, colorless, corrosive fuming liquid with a sharp, pungent odor. It is 100% soluble in water and is not flammable.

The 49% solution is highly hazardous and needs to be handled and used with rigorous safety precautions. Both liquid and vapor can cause severe burns to all parts of the body. Specialized medical treatment is required for any exposure to this or any grade of HF.

Hydrofluoric acid(HF) is week acid. Analyzing weak electrolysis experimental methods (acetic acid as an example):

1, the measured concentrations of HCl and CH3COOH with the pH. Big pH is acetic acid;

2, take the same volume, the same concentration of hydrochloric acid and acetic acid, do conductivity test. Conductive weak acetic acid; 

3, take the same concentration of hydrochloric acid and acetic acid solution, adding exactly the same kinds of zinc sheet. Start slow reaction when acetic acid; 

4, take the same volume, the same two solutions pH (or hydrogen ion concentration) of hydrochloric acid and acetic acid, add a sufficient amount of zinc, collected by hydrogen. Multi-generated hydrogen is acetic acid;

5, take the same hydrochloric acid and acetic acid solution of pH, respectively, with the concentration of sodium hydroxide solution is reacted with the same volume. Consume more alkaline is acetic acid;

6, take the same size, with hydrochloric acid and acetic acid solution pH, the same multiple were diluted with distilled water, pH was measured again after two diluted solution. Small changes in pH is acetic acid;

7, pH measured at the same concentration of sodium acetate and sodium chloride solution.
