Zinc-nickel battery has a greater than the energy, cheap raw materials, mercury-free cadmium and other advantages, is the ideal power supply for electric vehicles, but the zinc anode discharge products in the potassium hydroxide electrolyte has a greater solubility, restricting its battery field application. In this paper, the research object is: ① zinc oxide, calcium zinc oxide, zinc oxide and barium hydroxide prepared by the mixture of zinc anode ② potassium carbonate, potassium fluoride and potassium hydroxide mixed alkaline electrolyte. The electrochemical mechanism and electrochemical properties of zinc negative electrode were revealed by X - ray diffraction, cyclic voltammetry, polarization curve, AC impedance and charge - discharge behavior. The crystal structure of calcium stannate prepared by X-ray diffraction was analyzed. The zinc anode prepared by the mixture of calcium zincate and zinc barium was analyzed in potassium hydroxide electrolyte. Potassium carbonate, potassium fluoride and potassium hydroxide mixed electrolyte in the cycle of 10 times, 50 times after the active substance in the phase and the phasor of the trend. The cyclic voltammetry curves at different scanning speeds were measured by electrochemical workstation. The reversible interval of the electrode reaction was measured. The standard electrode potential and the electrode reaction of the electrode were calculated in the reversible interval. The polarization curves and the AC impedance spectra were measured. The interval between the overpotential and the current was measured. The tuffer constant b and the exchange current density were calculated in the linear interval. The Charging and cycling performance was tested using analog battery technology. The results show that the zinc anode prepared by the mixture of calcium zincate and zinc barium can slow the dissolution of the zinc anode discharge product in the electrolyte, and show better charge and discharge performance and cycle performance than the zinc anode prepared by zinc oxide. The use of potassium carbonate, potassium fluoride and potassium hydroxide mixed electrolyte, reducing the solubility of zinc oxide in alkaline electrolyte, extending the zinc anode cycle life.
