Pentafluorobenzonitrile is an important medicine, pesticide intermediates, with high value, good market prospects. The full development of pentafluorobenzonitrile is made from pentachlorobenzonitrile as a raw material at a higher temperature with potassium fluoride as a fluorinating agent, by replacing the chlorine atom on the benzene ring. The effects of reaction conditions such as reaction temperature, reaction time, the ratio of reaction materials, the state of potassium fluoride, the amount of solvent and the amount of solvent on the reaction yield were discussed. Under the experimental conditions, pentafluorobenzonitrile was synthesized, and the optimized process parameters of pentachlorobenzonitrile were obtained.
